Late Shift is a full version adventure game developed by Wales Interactive for Play Station 4. It is a high-stakes crime thriller that follows the story of a mathematics student, Matt, who is forced into the robbery of a lucrative auction house. After the heist, Matt is left to prove his innocence in the brutal London heist. The game is presented in a choose-your-own-adventure style gameplay that can lead to one of seven conclusions, with your decisions having consequences from the very start, right through to the very end.
The game features a multi-optional storytelling structure, allowing players to explore countless storylines and outcomes. There are over 180 decision points in total, with no pauses and no looping footage. The cinematic experience of Late Shift is filmed in full HD in London, England, and directed by Tobias Weber, with the screenplay written by Michael R. Johnson, the author of Sherlock Holmesfilm).
